Convertible Polymer Clay Black Cat Ear Jacket Earrings

These wonderfully expressive black cats feature hand-shaped polymer clay bodies, dangling tails, and enormous yellow eyes with slit pupils. Their clever two-part ear-jacket construction places the cat’s head on the front of the earlobe while the body and articulated tail hang below from behind. For a quieter day—assuming a black cat ever permits one—the post-style heads can also be worn separately as whimsical studs. The earrings are in excellent condition with no maker’s marks. Measurements: Approximately 1 3/4 inches long when fully assembled; each kitty head measures approximately 1/2 inch wide. Curator’s Note: Those eyes suggest they know exactly what happened to the missing jewelry—and they will not be answering questions without legal representation. Delightfully strange, wonderfully dimensional, and essentially two pairs of earrings in one.
