Oversized Wooden Africa Earrings – Red Yellow Green Segmented Dangles – Lightweight Statement Earrings

These earrings did not receive the memo about making a quiet entrance. Bold, oversized wooden Africa silhouette earrings are constructed in three articulated sections, allowing the pieces to move independently as they are worn. Each section is painted in vivid red, yellow and green, with the color continuing on both sides. Despite their wonderfully dramatic size, the wood construction keeps them surprisingly lightweight and wearable. French hook ear wires complete the design. They measure approximately 4 inches long by 2 1/2 inches wide and are in excellent condition, with no maker's markings noted. Large, colorful and impossible to overlook—in other words, they are doing their job beautifully. Curator’s Note There are statement earrings, and then there are earrings that enter the room several seconds before you do. These belong to the second group.
