Coin Pearl Sunburst Earrings – Opalescent Glass Ray Statement Dangles – Vintage Goldtone Posts

Radiant coin-pearl suns release cascades of opalescent light in these extraordinary vintage statement earrings. Each post top features a naturally irregular real coin pearl set at the center of a dimensional goldtone sunburst. Fine tubular rays surround the pearls, creating a bright sculptural halo approximately 1 inch across. Below, multiple independently suspended strands form a second, larger explosion of light. Faceted opalescent glass beads flash soft ivory, pale gold, pink and blue as they move, producing a luminous effect without relying on rhinestones. The articulated rays spread approximately 1 3/4 inches across and sway individually, giving the earrings marvelous motion and presence. The natural variations in shape and surface between the two coin pearls are characteristic of genuine pearls and part of their organic beauty. These post-style earrings measure approximately 3 1/4 inches long, with 1-inch sunbursts and a maximum width of approximately 1 3/4 inches across the glass rays. They are in very good vintage condition with minor age-appropriate wear and no markings. Curator’s Note Some earrings catch the light. These have apparently negotiated exclusive ownership of it—and are now distributing it in carefully measured rays.
