Vintage Turquoise Glass Rhinestone Earrings – Converted Long Antiqued Brass French Hook Dangles

Long, slender and unmistakably dramatic, these earrings combine older turquoise-glass rhinestone drops with matching glass beads, antiqued chain and French hooks. The lower components feature tiny prong-set turquoise glass rhinestones arranged around elongated antiqued brass-tone loops. Based upon the visible differences in age and construction, the earrings appear to have been converted or rebuilt for pierced ears at a later date. The conversion gives the older components a second life while preserving their wonderful vintage character. • Opaque turquoise glass rhinestones • Turquoise glass accent beads • Antiqued brass-tone metal • French-hook pierced style • Approximately 3 3/4 inches long • Approximately 3/8 inch wide • No maker’s marks found • Good vintage condition • Age-related patina and finish wear consistent with their history Curator’s Note: They have had a little work done, but unlike most celebrities, they are perfectly willing to admit it.
