1970s Bunny Rabbit Stud Earrings – Vintage Goldtone Enamel Posts, Mint on Original Card
Straight from the 1970s and apparently waiting patiently all these years for their moment, these darling little bunny rabbit post earrings remain mint and never worn on their original vintage puff display card. Each petite rabbit is rendered in warm goldtone metal with a textured tan body, soft pink enamel ears and a tiny white tail. At only 3/8 inch high and wide, they are wonderfully small — a charming little flash of personality rather than a full-scale rabbit invasion. The original card identifies them as fashion earrings with surgical steel posts. There are no maker’s markings. A terrific piece of genuine vintage novelty jewelry, especially appealing because the pair has remained together and unworn on its original packaging for roughly half a century. These may be the best-behaved rabbits in recorded history. I particularly love the fact that whoever designed them remembered the important details: pink ears, fluffy white tails, and absolutely no concern whatsoever for being taken seriously.
