Vintage Silvertone Fringe Earrings – Industrial Metal Strand Tassels – Long Kinetic Post Dangles

Fluid strands of silvertone metal create a striking combination of machine-age geometry and graceful movement in these vintage post earrings. Each earring begins with a narrow rectangular top from which multiple flexible, diamond-textured metal strands descend. The strands separate and sway independently, with a polished metal ball finishing each tip. Their varied lengths form an irregular fringe that glitters, bends and shifts with every movement. The narrow silhouette feels sleek and futuristic, while the exposed metal construction and cable-like strands give the design an unmistakably industrial character. Although only 1/4 inch wide at the top, the flexible fringe spreads and comes alive when worn. The earrings measure approximately 2 1/2 inches long by 1/4 inch wide. They are in very good vintage condition with minor age-appropriate surface wear and no markings. Curator’s Note Part jewelry, part electrical experiment. Whatever machine surrendered these glittering silver cables clearly had excellent taste.
