Vintage Goldtone Ring Cluster Earrings – Kinetic Industrial Chain Dangles – Post Style

A lively cascade of interlocking goldtone rings gives these vintage earrings the look of wearable kinetic sculpture. Beginning with polished goldtone ball posts, graduated chains of individually linked circles descend into loose, asymmetrical clusters. The flat metal rings overlap, turn and shift independently, creating continuous movement and a soft metallic shimmer as the earrings are worn. Their open geometric construction feels both modernist and industrial—somewhere between chain links, mechanical components and an abstract artist’s mobile. Despite the abundance of rings, the airy design keeps the look visually light rather than solid or heavy. These post-style earrings measure approximately 2 1/8 inches long by 3/4 inch wide. They are in very good vintage condition with minor age-appropriate wear and no markings. Curator’s Note Apparently someone dismantled a very small golden machine and turned the most interesting pieces into earrings. An excellent decision, since the machine probably did something dull.
