Dark Teal Layered Tagua Nut Dangle Earrings

Rich dark teal color transforms natural tagua nut slices into bold, lightweight statement earrings. Each earring combines two overlapping organic teardrop shapes, allowing the lower slice to peek out and move independently beneath the upper one. The polished slices retain their dark natural edges and subtle concentric grain. Knotted tan cord connects them to goldtone French hook ear wires, adding a relaxed, earthy finish. These earrings are unsigned and in excellent condition. They measure approximately 2 inches long by 1 inch wide. Tagua is the seed of a South American palm and is commonly called vegetable ivory because of its smooth, dense texture. Natural variations in shape and grain make each slice unique. Curator’s Note: That extraordinary blue-green color falls somewhere between deep teal and tropical water. The overlapping slices give these simple earrings far more movement and dimension than a single flat drop.
