1960s Opalescent Glass and Rhinestone Drop Earrings

Softly luminous and beautifully romantic, these circa-1960s earrings feature large faceted opalescent glass stones surrounded by halos of sparkling clear rhinestones. The center stones shift from milky white to warm peach and golden tones as they catch the light. Originally made as screw back earrings, they have been thoughtfully converted for pierced ears by Jill, an experienced bench jeweler, using new Sterling Silver French wires. This allows their wonderful vintage design to be enjoyed comfortably today. The vintage dangles are in good condition, with some small dings and signs of age on the metal backs. These details are not noticeable when the earrings are worn. No maker’s markings are present.
