Origami Paper Crane Earrings – Yin-Yang Charm Dangles – Black and Gold French Hook Bird Jewelry

Hand-folded paper cranes take flight in this imaginative pair of statement earrings. Each three-dimensional crane is folded from dark paper decorated with metallic gold designs. Antiqued brass-tone beads and slender tube accents connect the cranes to French hooks, while round charms swing freely beneath them. One side of each charm displays the familiar Yin-Yang symbol; the reverse bears decorative Asian characters. The earrings measure approximately 2 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide and are in good vintage condition. One paper crane has sustained a small amount of compression, but the bird remains intact and wearable. Please examine the photographs closely for the best description of its condition. Because the cranes are constructed from paper, they should be kept dry and stored where they will not be crushed. Curator’s Note: One crane has encountered a little turbulence during its travels but remains entirely airworthy. The Yin-Yang charms suggest that even earrings understand the importance of balance—especially when made from folded paper.
