1970s Real Oak Leaf Earrings 24K Gold Dipped Botanical Dangles

A tiny piece of autumn preserved in gold. Dating to the 1970s, these French-hook earrings were created from real oak leaves dipped in 24K gold, preserving the natural lobed edges, delicate veins, and individual character of each leaf. The earrings are in excellent vintage condition and measure approximately 2 1/4 inches long by 3/4 inch wide. Because genuine leaves were used, the pair has the subtle organic variation expected of botanical jewelry. Elegant without being overly formal, they offer beautiful movement and a rich golden glow. Curator’s Note: Mother Nature designed them. Someone simply had the excellent sense to add gold.
