Textured Silvertone Industrial Hoop Earrings

These substantial silvertone hoops combine bold texture with architectural openwork. The wide front sections are divided into raised panels filled with tightly patterned dots and diagonal ridges, while the slimmer backs feature an open ladder-like structure. Hinged latch-back closures complete the sleek mechanical design. They are in excellent condition and marked CU with a small heart symbol. Measurements: Approximately 1 1/2 inches tall by 3/8 inch wide. Curator’s Note: Business in the back, structural engineering in the front. These hoops appear to have been designed by someone who looked at industrial machinery and quite correctly thought, “That would make an excellent earring.”
