Vintage Gothic Black Acrylic and Brass Dangle Earrings

Not every Halloween earring needs a pumpkin. Some prefer to arrive after dark wearing black and looking mysterious. Dating to approximately the late 1970s or 1980s, these dramatic post earrings combine antiqued brass with faceted black acrylic stones. The articulated geometric construction creates graceful movement, while the dark stones and aged metal give the pair an unmistakably Gothic presence. Despite their substantial appearance, they are wonderfully lightweight and comfortable to wear. The earrings are in good vintage condition and measure approximately 2 1/2 inches long by 1/2 inch wide. Curator’s Note: Elegant, shadowy, and just suspicious enough—these can attend a Halloween gathering and remain perfectly useful once the pumpkins have gone home.
