Vintage Black Enamel and Rhinestone Art Deco Post Earrings

Petite vintage post earrings featuring glossy black enamel and tiny clear rhinestones arranged in a crisp geometric design. Their square-with-clipped-corners silhouette has a strong Art Deco Revival character, likely dating from the late 1980s or early 1990s. The earrings are unsigned and remain in mint condition. They were found on an Armeni Milano display card where they appear to have rested for many years; however, the relationship between the unsigned earrings and the card cannot be authenticated. The card is included for presentation but is not being represented as proof of maker or Italian origin. Measurements: 9/16 inch square. Curator’s Note Small in scale but wonderfully polished, these black enamel squares deliver just the right balance of geometry and sparkle.
