Colorful Beaded Pencil Statement Earrings

For the teacher, writer, artist or lifelong collector of interesting school supplies—these pencils are very clearly not intended for taking ordinary notes. The goldtone metal post earrings begin with cheerful pink heart tops covered in tiny beads. Below, long pencil-shaped dangles are meticulously decorated with colorful rows of pink, orange, red, blue, green, yellow, white and pearlized beads. Golden enamel tips and tiny black points complete the delightfully recognizable design. In mint condition, the earrings measure approximately 2 5/8 inches long by 5/8 inch wide. Bold enough to make a statement, but slim enough to remain wonderfully wearable. Curator’s Note: The No. 2 pencil went to art school, found sequins and never looked back.
