Handmade Leather Baseball Earrings – Oversized Tooled Sports Dangles – Vintage French Hook Statement Earrings

For the baseball fan who considers team spirit a matter of scale. These fabulous oversized earrings are handmade from warm brown leather, cut into large circular baseball shapes and detailed on the front with dark stamped or tooled stitching that recreates the familiar curved seams of a baseball. The leather has wonderful natural texture and tonal variation, while the reverse shows the lighter unfinished leather surface. Their substantial 2-inch diameter gives them terrific visual impact, yet the leather construction keeps them much lighter than earrings of this size might suggest. Copper-colored French hook ear wires complement the warm brown tones beautifully. They measure approximately 2 3/4 inches long overall, with the baseballs measuring approximately 2 inches across. Very good vintage condition with light age-appropriate wear and no maker’s markings noted. Because these appear to be handmade from natural leather, small differences in surface color and texture are part of their character.
