Sterling Silver Articulated Owl Earrings – Blue Glass Eyes – 925 Kidney Wire Bird Dangles

Movement, texture and two remarkably watchful pairs of blue eyes make these sterling silver owls impossible to overlook. Each owl is constructed from three separately connected sections—the head, feathered body and tail—allowing the earrings to sway and articulate naturally with every movement. Detailed feather texturing and a softly antiqued finish emphasize the dimensional silverwork, while vivid blue-and-black glass eyes provide a dramatic flash of color. The earrings are suspended from secure kidney-style ear wires with hooked closures. They measure approximately 1 5/8 inches tall by 1/2 inch wide, are marked 925 on the reverse and are in excellent condition. Curator’s Note: These owls nod, shimmy and keep a remarkably close watch on everyone nearby. Fortunately, they appear wise enough to keep what they see to themselves.
