Mexican Alpaca Silver Kokopelli Enamel Earrings

Bold Kokopelli silhouettes dance across these vintage Mexican dangle earrings. Each oval alpaca-silver drop features a glossy black enamel Kokopelli figure set against a softly reflective silvertone background. Simple French hooks allow the earrings to swing freely and catch the light. They measure approximately 1 5/8 inches long by 5/8 inch wide and are marked “Mexico” on the backs. The earrings remain in very good vintage condition, with light surface scratches and wear consistent with age. Please note that alpaca silver—also known as nickel silver—is a silvery base-metal alloy and does not contain sterling silver. Curator’s Note: The contrast is what makes these special. Each black flute player appears to dance across the shining metal as the earrings move.
