Handmade Sterling Silver Button Earrings | Hammered Modernist 3 Band Post Earrings

Simple at first glance, but full of hand-worked character. These handmade sterling silver post earrings feature gently domed round discs with a hammered surface, crossed diagonally by three raised rounded silver bands. The contrast between the irregular reflective background and the smooth applied bands gives them wonderful depth and a distinctly Modernist, studio-jewelry feel. The earrings are unmarked, while the accompanying clutches are marked 925. The posts appear neatly soldered to the backs, another nice indication of their handmade construction. They remain in excellent condition, with the soft surface variation and subtle patina that suit handcrafted sterling beautifully. Measurements: approximately 3/4 inch in diameter.
