Sterling Silver Turquoise Double Feather Dangle Earrings

Genuine turquoise cabochons and beautifully detailed sterling silver feathers create a graceful Southwestern-inspired design. Each earring begins with an oval turquoise post in a smooth bezel setting. Two separately attached feathers swing beneath the stone, creating gentle movement when worn. The feathers have finely textured vanes, raised center shafts and wrapped details near the tops. The silver has a softly oxidized finish that emphasizes every line. These pierced post earrings are marked 925 for sterling silver and are in excellent condition. They measure approximately 1 7/8 inches long by 5/16 inch wide. No artist’s signature or tribal hallmark is present, so they are described as Southwestern or Native American style rather than Native American-made. Curator’s Note: The restrained design lets the materials speak for themselves—bright blue turquoise above two darkly oxidized silver feathers that move independently below.
