Vintage Mixed Plastic Earrings Embossed Metal Geometric Long Dangles

A striking combination of color, texture, and materials gives these vintage French-hook earrings their distinctive collected-over-time appearance. Embossed antiqued-silvertone metal cones lead to layered geometric drops composed of deeply ridged chocolate brown, reddish brown, and creamy ivory-colored plastic sections. One earring has light chipping along a seam where two plastic sections meet. The wear is visible on close inspection but does not diminish the dramatic overall appearance; please review the photographs carefully. The earrings measure approximately 3 1/2 inches long by 1 inch wide. Curator’s Note: Their origin may be a mystery, but their ability to start conversations is fully documented.
