Vintage Sailing Ship & Compass Earrings – Antiqued Brass Adventure French Hook Dangles

Made for wanderers, explorers and anyone who has ever looked at a map and thought, “That looks promising,” these wonderfully detailed vintage earrings combine two classic symbols of adventure: an old sailing ship and a compass rose. Each earring begins with a round antiqued brass-tone bezel featuring a sepia-toned image of a traditional sailing ship. Suspended below is a large openwork compass rose, complete with directional markings and pointed rays, giving the earrings wonderful movement and an unmistakably old-world expedition feel. The warm aged-brass finish works beautifully with the softly faded ship imagery, making the entire design look as though it could have been discovered tucked inside an old travel trunk.
